Leota Middle School has an opening for a part-time Spanish Teacher (0.4 FTE) for Challenge Spanish 200 and 300 classes, which will be taught primarily in Spanish. Qualified applicants must hold a Washington State Teaching Certificate and be fluent in Spanish. For the current school year, assignment dates are 2/1/2022 to 6/21/2022.

Working Conditions:

Work in a classroom setting; required to meet inflexible deadlines; experience constant interruptions; required to deal with distraught or frustrated people; work with students with diverse needs and cultural backgrounds; must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, lift and carry objects typically weighing ten pounds or less; required to stand for extended periods of time; frequently reach below shoulder height; occasionally push or pull objects; frequently required to use sufficient manual dexterity to operate controls and computer keyboard, and handle books and other materials; exposure to infectious diseases; may be required to attend meetings or activities beyond normal work day.
