Job/Internship Description

This position supports the Casualty team by assisting with various claim handling duties within our Neenah office or Remote. Throughout the school year, this position is part-time 15 - 20 hours per week based on class schedule and our company's business hours. This position may be 40 hours during the summer and breaks contingent upon work needs. The ideal candidate will graduate May 2023 or later.



Job Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizing, labeling and documenting medical records associated with our Bodily Injury, Uninsured Motorist, Underinsured Motorist and Medical Payments Files
  • Process Medical Records Requests
  • Reviewing Medicare Portal
  • Assisting with uploading CDs
  • Handle respondent arbitrations as needed
  • Assist Team Lead with desk coverage including mail and phone calls
  • Assist Casualty team members with various claim tasks as needed
  • Department projects as needed
  • Assist with organizing department materials and meetings
  • May handle a small case load of claims
  • Other claim duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Initiative to take on new challenges
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
