Position Summary:
The Sales Rep Trainee will undergo a 4 to 6-month development program designed to cultivate the skills, knowledge, and expertise required to excel as an Outside Sales Representative. Throughout this period, you will receive hands-on training, engage in shadowing experiences, and receive guidance from seasoned mentors to build a strong foundation in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
Position’s Key Responsibilities:

Immerse yourself in the diverse range of Uwajimaya products and gain a deep understanding of their origins, qualities, and significance to our customers.

Participate in tailored sales training sessions to learn effective sales strategies, negotiation techniques, and customer-centric approaches.

Accompany skilled sales representatives on customer visits, in-store demonstrations, and sales meetings to observe and learn from their interactions.

Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients, conduct market research, and contribute to lead generation efforts.

Assist in building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, understanding their preferences, and addressing their inquiries.

Develop skills in delivering compelling and informative sales presentations to potential customers.

Learn to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward sales targets.

Understand the assigned sales territory, including key customer demographics, competitor analysis, and opportunities for growth.

Receive regular feedback and coaching from assigned mentors to track progress and address areas for improvement.
