ArenaNet is proud to call the beautiful Seattle area home. It may have a gloomy reputation, but there are plenty of sunny days—and greenery flourishes after the spring rains, giving Seattle its official nickname: “The Emerald City.”
 

• There's No Place Like It- Washington has a thriving job market, statewide antidiscrimination protections, and no state income tax. People from limitless backgrounds, lifestyles, and cultures come here to stay, making it one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States.
• The Mountain Next Door- On clear days, we can look southeast to admire Mount Rainier—the tallest mountain in the Cascades at nearly 14,500 feet. Mt. Rainier National Park is a Designated Historic Landmark District and a popular destination for hiking, skiing, camping, and research.
• Culture and Community- Seattle is a center of influential art, technology, and musical movements. Many neighborhoods host regular farmers’ markets and street fairs, and decorate buildings with murals commissioned from local artists. Our city is known for its fantastic food, incredible coffee, and easygoing vibe.
