Since 1883, our goal has been simple – help people lead more comfortable lives. We started by inventing a bedspring that helped people get a better night’s sleep. No longer just The Components People, we’ve expanded this mission to nearly every part of daily lives: specialty foam, car seats, flooring underlayment, home and work furniture, even airplanes and hydraulic cylinders. Though you may not see them, you likely encounter our products every day.

We enhance people’s lives worldwide by designing and manufacturing innovative, distinctive products and components for use in bedding, furniture, seating, homes, offices, airplanes, and automobiles. We efficiently turn ordinary materials into extraordinary products, strive to generate value for our stockholders, and provide employment opportunities for people in communities around the world. Over time, the company will grow and prosper as we expand or obtain positions in attractive markets, develop inventive proprietary products, and continuously improve production and distribution efficiency.
