VP | Commercial Relationship Manager (C&I)


The VP | Commercial Relationship Manager, C&I originates and expands current relationships with commercial products by interviewing applicants, analyzing financial data, notifying of loan decisions and status and providing ongoing portfolio management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and monitors sales plans and activities that will achieve/exceed sales target goals
  • Cross-sells services appropriately and professionally
  • Establishes a professional rapport with customers in order to most effectively match products and services to customer needs
  • Closes sales with required documents commensurate to the transaction
  • Develops new business by contacting prospective and current customers
  • Advises prospects and customers of other products and services offered in order to develop additional banking relationships
  • Develops and maintains professional business relationships with key influencers in the community (i.e. CPA's, attorneys, investment bankers, insurance agents)
  • Establishes credit worthiness of credit applicants by interviewing applicants and using active listening/probing skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualification

  • Working knowledge of company lending policy/regulations, title insurance, loan documentation, credit/financial analysis techniques, disbursement procedures, underwriting functions, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of business and management principles and practices
  • Solid sales/marketing and customer service techniques, along with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid analytical and accounting skills and good attention to detail
  • Previous supervisory/management experience

Preferred Education/Training

  • B.A. / B.S. and 5-10 years of commercial (C&I) lending experience required; thorough knowledge of loan processing, closing, administration functions, etc.

Pay Ranges

  • $108,000.00 To $154,519.00 Annually
