An END Technologist I conducts EEG examinations under the general supervision of a senior staff. The END I is responsible for the preparation of the patient, conducting EEG examinations, and collecting information pertinent for the interpretation of the tests. The Technologist is responsible for performing standard as well as motivated to pursue the skills necessary to complete more complicated and complex EEG recordings. Is able to monitor additional electrophysiological phenomena by means of appropriate techniques and instrumentation, may assist in the training and teaching of END students or other junior END I Technicians.
