Position Summary
The Pharmacist Specialty Services is a vital role within the MultiCare pharmacy department. Performing manipulative and non-discretionary functions, this position acts as a support system, providing both guidance and education to patients and families.Responsibilities
- You will perform patient outreach to ensure accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticals
- You will collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MHS specialty pharmacy resources
- You will process prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinics
- You will determine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay assistance and medication assistance programs when appropriate
Requirements
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)

Pay and Benefit Expectations
MultiCare provides a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, MultiCare shares a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The starting pay for this position is $66.91 and the pay scale is $66.91 - $87.77 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
