Job Summary

This position is responsible for undertaking strategic market and competitive analyses, and creating, maintaining, and analyzing a Voice of the Customer feedback loop to deliver key insights into business opportunities across Henry Schein One’s product portfolio. This individual will partner with stakeholders and key leaders across the organization including the Chief Customer Experience Officer, Chief Product Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, other marketing functions (demand generation and content for thought leadership), product, strategy, and vertical leadership to drive insights and actionable recommendations for go forward strategy.

What you will do

  • Compile and synthesize key trends, competitor activity, threats and opportunities based on continuous monitoring of the external market.
  • Consolidate, synthesize, and disseminate key Voice of the Customer insights to internal stakeholders throughout the organization (product, strategy, business unit general managers, marketing).
  • Identify gaps in VOC data and create new processes where none currently exist.
  • Create self-service dashboard of VOC data and insights for internal stakeholder groups.
  • Support launch and ongoing measurement of company wide NPS measurement and scoring.
  • Research, monitor and collate competitor activity to develop both an ongoing view of threats and opportunities as well as to inform specific proposition development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage multiple data and insight sources to synthesize a single coherent narrative in response to business issues and support decisions.
  • Understand, synthesize, articulate and communicate market forces impacting the HenryScheinOne product suite. Be an internal subject matter expert on the company’s existing portfolio and where it fits into the market landscape (where are we at, above and below parity).
  • Work closely with product marketing team to consolidate product level competitive insights into company wide understanding of our product portfolio and where it sits in the market.
  • Assist internal strategy team in exploring adjacent markets for build/buy/partner opportunities.
  • Provide strategic guidance by identifying and evaluating attractive product, customer and market segments, and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Support qualitative and quantitative research projects, presenting recommendations and communicating insights for incorporation into marketing, product and strategic planning.
  • Provide insight into key players, competitors, customers, industries and influences that impact the marketplace.
  • Develop and administer surveys to HenrySchein One buyers and end users, for market insights and thought leadership content.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in strategy, market insights, and qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Competitive and market research

  • Proficient storyteller, able to see through large and varied information sources and convey clear, compelling messages

Nice to have:

  • MBA and experience of at least 5 years

The posted range for this position is $108,000-$135,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a 15% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
