Additional Job Details:

  • Board certified/eligible in Sleep Medicine at time of employment
  • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
  • Primary specialty with subspecialty training in sleep medicine
  • Experience in psychiatry, with cognitive behavioral therapy expertise preferred
  • Ability to see all types of sleep disorders including insomnia
  • Ability and training to prescribe medications
  • Ability to work well with others and have excellent rapport with patients and staff


FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday-Friday

Salary - $288,739 - $320,821

Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Sleep Medicine Physician to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. In this role, you will diagnose and manage patients with various types of sleep disorders such as insomnia, sleep apnea, upper airway resistance syndrome (UARS), narcolepsy, etc.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent degree
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Sleep Medicine
  • Completion of residency and/or fellowship in the relevant field of Sleep Medicine
  • DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
