FTE: 0.2, Shift: day, Schedule: variable

Compensation is $672,861 based on a 1.0 FTE.

The Medical Director of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery is a 0.2FTE. This position is to complement our .8FTE Pediatric Orthopedic clinical opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Attending monthly Medical Director meetings.
  • Work with Division Medical Director regarding quality bonus metrics.
  • Work with administrative dyad to run department meetings at a regular cadence, financial sustainability and bonus metric performance.
  • Ensure appropriate adherence to Mary Bridge values and behavior standards.
  • Ensure clinical initiatives.
  • Conduct Physician/APP annual performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with Clinical Supervisor in day-to-day operations, which also include approval/management of Annual Leave.
  • Mentor new physicians and APPs joining the team.
  • Be an expert/resource to the Division Medical Director.
  • Subject matter expert for CPGs
  • Approve Wellness/Volunteer Service bonus hours.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school
  • Licensure to practice medicine in Washington State as a Physician
  • Board certification or similar accreditation
  • Credentialed to practice in MultiCare Health System facilities
  • Minimum of ten (10) years clinical experience, providing direct patient care preferred
  • Experience in a medical leadership role required
  • Additional education in healthcare administration preferred
