Position Summary

The Legal Services Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Legal Department and facilitating administrative aspects of assigned organization-wide legal programs, projects, transactions and/or processes to enable efficient and effective daily operations in accordance with regulations and department protocol/processes. The Coordinator works on significant matters ranging from risk/bond financing, physicians' insurance claims, due diligence related to transactions, corporate/governance, budget and billing matters, depending on assignment. The Coordinator communicates directly with internal staff, physicians, medical directors, carriers/brokers/vendors and outside council serving as an administrative subject area expert for assigned functions; gathers, analyzes and tracks data, creates/produces reports and provides information.

Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science degree as a legal assistant or legal assistant course work (or equivalent) required
  • Minimum seven (7) years of legal department/ law office experience with increasing responsibilities supporting at least three attorneys

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $27.98 - $40.76 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
