The Platform EHS, Facilities, and Maintenance Leader is responsible for taking the lead in the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of all Watts Applied Solutions' relevant activities across the platform. Responsibilities include: program management of projects and actively engages with site and platform leadership to develop and implement new operational improvements; documentation revision and maintenance; workflow efficiency and continual improvement; measurement and compliance to internal, external, and customer requirements; and customer and strategic business requirements.

You will:

  • Implement and be responsible for measurement system for production and building equipment operations and contracted services.

  • Plan, promote, and organize Company-wide training activities to ensure employees receive the required and appropriate training for the performance of their job functions as it relates to area responsibility initiatives.

  • Manage and be held accountable for implementation and effectiveness of site safety committees, daily, weekly monthly reporting and operating system.

  • Develop and implement KPI's for success

  • Facilitate CI improvements with functional team; 2 projects per year

  • Manage compliance reporting for Environmental Health and Safety programs.

  • Act as safety representative that directly coordinates with Corporate EHS Executive to drive standardization.

  • Drive safe practices in operations and facility in alignment with company expectations, policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with safety programs such as Lockout Tagout, fall protection, fire prevention, emergency procedures, and evacuation procedures.

  • Coordinate with outside parties, vendors, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, such as OSHA, EPA, state and local government bodies.

  • Drive EHS root cause analysis of safety issues and communicated with leadership as prescribed.

  • Formulate, coordinate, and maintain maintenance objectives in coordination with operations to ensure compliance and optimize product delivery, and minimize costs.

  • Implement and be responsible for measurement system for maintenance management, material/spare parts readiness, demand supported items, and priority assignment levels of mission essential equipment.

  • Manage facility/maintenance requirements, utilities, and service agreements that directly impact the Watts Applied Solutions sites.

You have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years' experience in related field

  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodology

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

  • Ability to define a vision and strategy for EHS, Facilities, and Maintenance

  • Exceptional communication, team and process skills

  • Ability to work with coworkers effectively while driving change in a matrix environment

  • Ability to travel 30 to 40% as required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds alone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
