Position Title: Alcohol Enforcement Agent

Business Unit: Security

Position Reports to: Security Supervisors/ FOH F&B managers

Positions Reporting to this Role: N/A

Location: Crystal Mountain, Washington

Wage Range: $24.00

JOB SUMMARY

As an Alcohol Enforcement Agent, you will be responsible for all items relating to alcohol policy enforcement at your respective location, including knowledge of local, state, federal laws and internal Crystal Mountain policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all appropriate signage related to the responsible sale of alcoholic beverages is posted in all bar and applicable concession areas at all times
  • Monitor compliance of the Company policy regarding portioning and limits on drink purchases
  • Perform other alcohol safety related duties as assigned.
  • Supports company initiatives within the department.
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with all individuals throughout every level of business
  • Ensure that no one who is visibly intoxicated is being served alcoholic beverages
  • Ensure that anyone observed serving minors or serving more than the legal per transaction / portion limits is immediately reported to management for appropriate disciplinary action
  • Watch for "pass-offs" (passing alcoholic beverages for those who are not able to purchase it for themselves, i.e. handing off a beer to a minor or visibly intoxicated person)
  • Ensure that hours of service and cut-off times are observed.
  • When a ticket holder violation is identified by, report to management immediately and work with event security & local authorities to intervene, when necessary
  • Monitor and report compliance of the Company policy related to appropriate identification checks for the sale of alcohol
  • Monitor and report compliance of the Company policy regarding appropriate alcohol service termination whenever it is deemed to be necessary
  • Monitor and report compliance of all other Company policies as they are developed and deemed necessary

Job Requirements/Skills

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to stand, walk & maneuver through crowds for entire shift
  • Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift
  • Must be able to read & understand accepted ID forms (Passport, Military ID, State ID Card, Drivers' License, Foreign Issued Id's)
  • Must be able to comparatively identify valid vs. false ID
  • Knowledge of relevant local, state & federal regulations
