Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Power Harvesting Construction Manager (PHPM), you will perform a key role in delivering datacenter capacity for core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. By enabling datacenter capacity through increased Infrastructure Utilization Effectiveness (IUE) and Power Harvesting (PH), you will lead the In-Fill program enabling fragmented capacity for our customers in our existing fleet. ResponsibilitiesDeliver against established Objective Key Results (OKRs) through innovative approaches to power harvesting against a set of constraints.Prioritize workload based on customer needs and achievement of established OKRs.Manage the development of scope, schedule, and cost for projects to include coordination of contractors/vendors onsite and execute to completion. Develop solutions through partnership of key stakeholders, leveraging Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and conduct individual contributions as part of the deliverables.Manages the assigned projects or programs to meet service delivery objectives and escalates to appropriate stakeholders to remove obstacles.Manages the assigned projects or programs to meet service delivery objectives and escalates to appropriate stakeholders to remove obstacles.Leverage supply chain professionals to manage relationships with suppliers to ensure that all expectations are clarified, understood, documented, and met.Work with other construction peers in the organization to help them on their projects as neededShares best practices; assists others in learning role, process, procedures. Collaborate and engage with SMEs across CO+I to gain program / project insights. Leverage and synthesize these insights to develop and operationalize solutions that mitigate our customer gaps.Seeks training opportunities that meet the interest of the business as well as own career goals and objectives.Suggests ways for reducing risk of performing retrofit and new projects; works with others to accommodate scheduling needs. Suggests improvements in implementation based on depth of understanding. Contributes to a positive team environment by learning and adopting best practices. Contributes constructively during team meetings and in cross-discipline collaborations within the service team. Recognizes priority of team success over individual achievement.
