Position OverviewThis position will be supporting Novanta's Synrad business unit. Synrad has come to be recognized as a leader in the development of sealed CO2 lasers and electro-optics technologies. Based on our patented "All Metal" tube technology, there are now well over 250,000 Synrad lasers in use throughout the world. Synrad lasers are used in a wide variety of industrial applications, including marking, coding, engraving, cutting, and converting on a wide range of target materials.Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensuring you and your team facilitate and fulfill agreed HR and Business strategies. Managing day-to-day HR issues for employees and managers
  • Enhancing the value of employees in the delivery of business objectives. Managing employee relations issues and providing guidance to managers on HR-related matters
  • Building a talent pool of professionals committed to innovation and success by collaborating. Developing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Ensuring that HR is responsive to business needs and expectations. Making recommendations on the formulation of local HR strategy, policy, practices, and procedures. Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures for compliance with legal requirements and best practices
  • Developing and maintaining HR metrics and analytics to monitor key performance indicators.

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies

  • Possess extensive management experience to showcase comprehensive HR knowledge.
  • Be able to build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders
  • Be able to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be analytical and technically skilled in human resources.

Travel Requirements

  • Less than 5%

Physical Requirements

  • Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
  • Ability to use vison to read computer screen and read printed materials.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base pay for this position ranges from $ to $ per year depending on the geographic market.
  • This position provides quarterly sales compensation based on achievement of the revenue plan.
