Speech Language Pathologist: Part-time With Flexible Schedules and Shifts Available
We are seeking a Part-Time Speech-language pathologist (SLP or SLP-CFY) to join our team in Tacoma, WA. Nestled in the Pacific Northwest in scenic Tacoma, Washington is Avamere at Puget Sound. This 60-bed, all private rooms, skilled nursing community features a gym surrounded by glass for an open feel. Our staff enjoy the small staff-to-patient ratios, which allows them to focus and provide the upmost compassionate care. Work with seniors in our five-star rated, resort-like setting at Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound. Tacoma is known for its awe-inspiring cityscapes, stunning views of Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains and serves as an affordable home base for exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. New grads or new to skilled nursing are welcome as we offer an excellent mentorship and training program.

Compensation range commensurate with experience $38-$51/hr.
Provides and directs all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and documentation according to organizations guidelines, professional standards, and community needs. Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, and to all internal and external customers. Actively participates in quality assurance and customer service activities.
