Job Description

Parametrix, a leading engineering, planning, and environmental sciences consulting firm, is seeking a SENIOR TRAFFIC/ITS ENGINEER to join our well-established team of dedicated professionals in Washington or Oregon. We are working on premier transportation projects throughout the region and are proud to have an established relationship with a range of clients providing us the opportunity to support and enhance the communities in which we live and work.


WHO YOU ARE:


Experienced: You have your BS, PE, and 10+ years of engineering experience related to traffic engineering and ITS planning and design for public and private sector clients


Skilled in Project Management: Demonstrated experience and success in managing, executing, and delivering complex projects as well as developing client relationships within transportation. Proven history of strong client relationships in Washington and/or Oregon preferred.


Relationship-focused: Strong people skills, collaborative approach, standout colleague and you thrive on developing rapport with others to maintain quality delivery. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Hard Working: You care deeply about delivering for your clients and your quality work reflects this. The transportation team works hard and is looking for someone to support them as they effectively deliver projects. You are self-motivated, but also thrive in a team environment. You enjoy a variety of challenging projects and, work environments.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $120,000-150,000+. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
