Job Description

The Americas Service Provider team seeks a Services Sales Specialist to join our sales organization. This highly visible opportunity is for someone with demonstrated services sales experience. We are a leading Theater in Cisco when it comes to selling sophisticated services, and we are going to take that success to new levels.

What You'll Do

As a critical member of the Sales Account team and the primary driver of the customer experience, you are owning the services sales motion. Our customers experience and success, is directly tied to the services they buy. This role is chartered with selling "premium" CX Services within the territory with an emphasis on closing "New" vs. "Renew" sales.

As the leader on the account team with respect to our services portfolio you will drive the execution of services sales regarding customer specific initiatives. As the specialist it's crucial for you to have a deep knowledge of the customer's working environment to ensure the best fitting solutions are positioned and sold. You will collaborate with and advise customers, sales teams, and partners on the best services solutions to achieve great customer experiences while growing customer value realization around Cisco's technology.

Who You'll Work With

This is a customer facing role and success is directly associated with your ability to work in a cross functional team. Portfolio Sellers, Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architects, Renewal Managers, Services Delivery, Legal, Finance, are all meaningful participants in our customer facing selling motion. The ability to flourish in this kind of matrixed working environment is critical.

Who You Are

You are a seller with demonstrated success exceeding goals in a quota carrying role. You have worked with large complex accounts. A strategic problem solver whose primary goal is to deliver outstanding business outcomes to your customers. You have a collaborative approach and understand how to work with the collective team. A professional with shown success in the technology services industry. Naturally curious and insightful, you establish great customer relationships and provide them great solutions for their success.

Minimum candidate qualifications:

5+ years of services sales experience (quota carrying)

Experience selling Professional Services and complex day 2 optimization services

Demonstrated experience in consultative sales roles focused on intangibles.

Demonstrated experience selling in large, sophisticated, big-ticket accounts.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple buyer personas (c-level, technical, economic, etc.)

Some travel is required (~20%) - do not apply if this does not work for you.
