We're looking for an amazing Sales Supervisor to fill this role. You'll be responsible for providing coaching, development, and support to internationally-based Personal Cruise Consultants (PCC) to collaboratively attain Contact Center service and performance goals for both Holland America Line and Seabourn. The International Sales Supervisor (ISS) is accountable for PCC/SSC escalations and policy adherence, executing department-wide PCC sales coaching plans, acting as the primary Sales Coach for Australia PCCs (and others as needed), assisting in New Hire PCC Department Training, and assisting in New Hire Sales Supervisor training to increase efficiency and effectiveness of PCC sales efforts to achieve sales performance success. The ISS collaborates with the Manager, International Sales (ISM) and international-based sales leadership to identify PCC training and sales coaching opportunities as well as participates in special projects as assigned. The ISS is the example of company Culture Essentials for International sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Visit Probe office quarterly, or as needed, to strengthen collaboration and participate in PCC training/coaching sessions in-person
  • Monitor and respond promptly to all Probe chats including Probe Leadership, Probe Round Robin, and Probe PCC Chat; additionally engage PCC chats for coaching and motivational purposes
  • Have a clear understanding of all PCC job functions including:
    • Polar, Siebel, and all other applications
    • HAL/SBN policies, rules, and regulations
    • Consumer Programs policies/procedures
    • Promotions and campaigns
  • Research and resolve all applicable PCC/SSC escalations providing progress, feedback, and results to management. Track and identify trends; discuss with ISM for refresher training, announcements, and potential New Hire training changes
  • Collaborate with ISM and Probe Sales Coach to develop, schedule, and administer sales coaching sessions for existing PCCs including knowledge checks and promo-specific coaching
  • Administer specified training sessions for New Hires including PCC Department and Sales Supervisor Training as directed by the ISM
  • Provide sales coaching to the AU PCCs (and UK PCCs as needed) including daily reporting, monthly 1:1s, and side-by-side coaching.
  • Participate in international PCC leadership meetings as directed by the ISM.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the HAL/SBN CP Management Team

Requirements

  • Experience using sales data and understanding of Holland and Seabourn booking/revenue components and terminology in order to teach and mentor Sales agents.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory/lead experience directing and managing individuals or a team.
  • Previous experience leading and managing sales teams in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Proven success as a sales representative as measured by level of sales performance against established goals and objectives.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with management, agents and guests in multiple locations of the business.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Well versed using integrated coaching strategies to provide real-time observations to coach the agents to make the most out of every call.
  • Self-motivated, coachable and a logical thinker.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability and proven success influencing and motivating others.
  • Strong personal computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible to changing priorities.
  • Ability to generate reports, graphs, and business correspondence

  • Pay range $28.46 an hour ($59,200) to $38.41 an hour ($79,900). The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
