Job Description

Responsible for supporting sales representatives and customers by providing information on availability of merchandise, prices, etc., and entering orders into the SAP computer system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manage daily needs of assigned accounts including prompt call answering, accurate order entry and order follow through. Create order guides for all assigned accounts. Handle replacement equipment on key accounts. Manage conflicts and solves problems for customers.
  • Assist department manager on gross margin to meet Company objectives.
  • Monitor customers' order pattern as needed to determine inventory levels. Discontinue items based on changes in accounts and communicates internally. Work closely with Purchasing in forecasting and communicating product needs.
  • Provide quotes to customers. Create commercial invoices. Work closely with Accounts Receivable (AR) to accurately invoice and assist in collecting monies on past due invoices.
  • Enter customer and vendor PO's. Hire service agent and issue PO for installation.
  • Assist department manager in forecasting and communicating product needs.
  • Assist DSM in finding sources for customers' item(s) requirements.
  • Insure all shipments have proper packaging and pallet tags. Make sure orders are shipped complete and on time, working closely with Warehouse Manager. Work closely with freight forwarder for timely delivery. Handle freight damage and returns.
  • Provides NAFTA certificates as needed and updates accordingly.
  • Communicate required building preparedness with customer prior to ice machine installation.
  • Coordinate ice machine installation and follow up with installers to make sure job was complete.
  • Approve installer invoices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

External Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 3+ years of experience in a call center OR a Bachelors Degree. Excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve, work efficiently, and multi-task. Intermediate proficiency with Word and Excel and detailed oriented and well organized. Ability to write business correspondence and successfully completed the CSR training and applied in daily work.

Preferred: Previous order entry SAP experience, 2+ years in high volume call center experience.

Hourly Range: $19.00 to $20.00
