Position Summary:
The Seafood Supervisor collaborates directly with the Assistant Department Manager (ADM) to maintain day-to-day department operations, ensuring alignment with department and store objectives. They actively engage in training and developing the staff, focusing on enhancing task efficiency and promoting positive customer service. As the initial point of contact, they address employee behavioral matters promptly, maintaining a harmonious work environment. The supervisor directs the staff's activities and effectively manages lunch and break schedules. They uphold adherence to health department and company policies, providing a safe eating and workplace experience. They handle customer concerns in real-time, finding solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. The supervisor monitors product inventory levels to meet the department's RFB standards. Leading by example, the Deli Supervisor showcases excellent customer service, ensuring that all staff follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures. They report to both the Department Manager (DM), ADM, and work in partnership with the Retail Central Services (RCS) Team.
Position's Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Compliance of Food & Workplace Safety.
Maintain the Environment and Culture of the Department.
Provide Training for Staff.
Provide Direction to Staff for Completion of Daily Tasks & Goals.
Maintain Proper Ordering Practices.
Support Department Financials.
Maintain Vendor, Customer, and RCS Relations.
Other duties as assigned.
Starting at $21.75/hr., Depending on Experience.
Position Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Knowledge of seafood and seafood cutting experience required.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Prior retail experience and Asian products required.
Working knowledge of the internet and proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent customer service.
Flexible schedule.
Basic math skills.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
