Position Summary

The Revenue Integrity Operations Advisor consults with and advices unit leadership on matters regarding charge description master (CDM) and charge capture issues/processes for the consistently growing MultiCare Health System to ensure efficient and complaint revenue capture processes represent entitled revenue. The incumbent establishes and manages relationships with business unit and support area leaders to gain in depth understanding of operations; organizes, scrutinizes, interprets and presents high value analysis of data to support the business unit's revenue capture functions; ensures systems and processes are in place and keep pace; provides education and training to clinical staff to improve charging process; provides technical support regarding revenue systems to business customers; supports the ongoing operations efficiency efforts; provides input and feedback regarding modifications and improvements of CDM-related policies and procedures and reference material related to CDM maintenance, charging protocols, and charge code data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in revenue cycle, charge capture, charge description master at a large healthcare organization required
  • Systems experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Epic experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $93,018.00 - $133,869.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
