OverviewCloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures, responsible for powering all Microsoft online Products and Services as well as powering Microsoft's "Cloud First" mission. Our Global Project Controls team supports the delivery of CO+I's mission and vision as the trusted advisors that deliver a definitive, responsive, and timely project controls program to all business areas via the industry's best people, work processes, systems, and tools. This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. ResponsibilitiesManages the team's Rhythm of Business (ROB) and works with both internal and cross-functional team counterparts to manage team participation as needed for key business deliverables, running business reviews, and other strategic business planning activities.Collaborates with internal stakeholders and Microsoft teams to oversee the creation and implementation of execution plans, while ensuring alignment for strategic initiatives across functions for their area of ownership. Tracks and reports on the success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]), such as quality, adoption, usage, impact, effectiveness) for the program. Uses understanding of the organization's strategy and deliverables for the upcoming year(s) to support fiscal year budgeting and collaborates with leaders regarding resource management planning.Contributes to cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and manage business needs. Engages and supports project/program tracking and aspects of execution, including work on strategic efforts that require hands-on experience which may be across multiple disciplines.Utilizes direction and strategy from leadership in order to help create and execute plans that shift current priorities to new organizational initiatives and objectives. Supports the vision, strategy, and flow of communication to the organizationSupports the development of content for internal communication.Other: Embody our culture and values
